Short-term Artist Residencies
The GRASSROOTS ArtWorks! program offers classroom and community enrichment experiences by placing artists in local classrooms and providing individualized professional development to classroom art teachers.
Through this program, working artists visit K-12th grade classrooms, and art educators recieve individualized professional development. This program directly benefits teachers, artists, and students.
Initially, we will have two artists in classrooms and over the course of five years plan to increase to ten artists in classrooms with corresponding professional growth opportunities for teachers.
